The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has confirmed a new grant scheme designed to support homeowners upgrading to high-efficiency windows and doors.

Under the 2026 scheme, homeowners who ordered or commenced works from 27th January 2026 onwards may qualify – provided all grant conditions are met and a registered SEAI contractor completes the installation.

How Much Is the Windows & Doors Grant in Ireland?

The amount available through the scheme depends on the type of property and the number of doors being replaced.

For a detached property replacing windows and two doors, the total grant support can reach up to €5,600.
